In your quest to find affordable life insurance be sure to examine all relevant information. Travelers has struck an exclusive agreement with Quinn’s former broker, Prime Professions, the Law Society Gazette has reported.

The insurer will offer professional indemnity cover to sole practitioner lawyers left in limbo by Quinn’s expected departure from the market.

However, Prime director, Richard Brown, has stressed that Travelers will only take on around three-quarters of the 1,900 sole practitioners currently insured by Quinn, and that premiums can be expected to rise by 15% to 20%.

The Gazette warns that around 500 sole practitioners currently insured by Quinn are therefore likely to face the “extremely difficult” task of finding alternative cover.

Combining whole life and term insurance! Have you ever given that some thought? The life insurance company can create a combination policy for you if that is your desire. This idea works out pretty well for some people.

Why would you combine whole life and term life insurance anyway? If you use your whole life policy as a base and add the term policy you would end up with more life insurance death benefit for your dollar than had you bought whole life alone.

On the other hand you may say that if you bought term alone you would get more death benefit. That is true but ask yourself this question, suppose you don’t die within the term period would there be any money to get back.
